To: Work

From: Rachel
Regarding: My absence today.

Dear Work,
As for my absence today, I consider myself a conscientious objector. It is against my beliefs to leave the house on such soggy and rainy days. It is nothing short of iniquity to leave one's house, let alone venture to the car or to work.
Fear not, however, for I can work from home! "How can I file pictures from home?" is a question that you may very well be asking yourself. Well, as I sit eating soup and watching a movie, I will put all of my capacities to mentally condition myself for the filing of pictures. Because of this mental training, I will inevitably be a much more effective picture-filer in the future.

Thank you for understanding and respecting my convictions.
Sincerely,
Rachel

[i wrote that as i was sitting at work today, thinking about what i could have written this morning. today at work i listened to four odyssey episodes. i learned valuable lessons. for example: when i don't understand poetry, i should ask for help rather than buying a poem from rusty, the bad kid at school. life lessons, i tell ya. ] [i'll write more about work later. i have odd ways of amusing myself :)]

so this is my next week:oh joy. :)
BUT, God is good. i am blessed. seriously, i am unimaginably busy, but God is showing me so much.

phew.
ok.
bye.
